GRDA Divers Recover Body Of Missing Vinita Man

 

Langley – The Grand River Dam Authority Police Department has recovered the body of a Vinita man, missing since Tuesday morning (March 9), from his home near Grand Lake.

 

GRDA is reporting that its dive team located the body of Carl Miller (81), in about 25 feet of water, near a boat dock at the Grand Point area of Grand Lake. Miller’s body was located about 4:15 on Wednesday afternoon (March 10).

 

Mr. Miller had been reported missing Tuesday morning. Soon after, several law enforcement and emergency management personnel began an exhaustive land search. At daylight on Wednesday, the GRDA dive team began its search in Grand Lake. Weather was a factor during that effort and there were some delays due to lightning moving through the area.  

 

Miller’s body will be transported to the state medical examiner’s office in Tulsa
