Fishing Reports

To all the GrandFishingReport.com website viewers who have loyally followed the website for many, many years, this message is for you. We created a new Facebook group called GrandFishingReport.com. Anyone can join and participate. The “group feed” will now post to the “fishing report” page. We did this so we could get a lot more participation from Angler’s that fish the lake, and are already active on Facebook.

The fishing guides will also be posting in this “group feed”. At some point we will have two streams running at the same time, both on the same page. One column will be from fishing guides only, one from Angler’s that fish Grand.

In less than a week we’ve added many members to the new Facebook “GrandFishingReport.com group”. There will be a lot more traffic and reports since we incorporated the Facebook group. This will defiantly will be exciting for all of us to see!

So, you are welcome to join our group on Facebook or just keep looking at the GrandFishingReport.com website under reports. I know it’s quite a change, but one that many will enjoy. The angler participation has already been terrific.

Went up around twin bridges on grand lake this weekend. Found some good Crappie that were liking the new buster blue color and the monkey milk too. The bigger fish seemed to be a little deeper around 20’. Caught some smaller fish in the 15’ range.

Thanks for the report Chris Buck!

Fishing in the rain yesterday with Zane Finton (left) and Brady Finton (right). Also Randy Hess joined us. 2”-2.5” Crappie Kickers, Big Eye jig heads, colors we used Pink&Purple, Buster Blue, Buster Brown, Monkey Milk. Casting about 10-12’ of line and slow reeling back up to 2-3’. Working as much water as possible. Water depth 13-15’. Water temp is about 48. Don’t forget the Bubble Gum Lure Spray. ... I have not found a good map to help locate some of the coves, points and hollows by name so I created my own. If you can help add some info to this great let me know and I will update. I know some of you protect your fishing holes pretty tight but for those of us that just like to catch fish maybe you can use the nearest location on this map to help us out. Grand produces another "GIANT!" Pretty cool hearing about a tactic that Justin Hurd shared to video me over 3yrs ago. A guy and his wife using dipsy divers on "youtube" named "Team Mainlake". I kicked the idea of trying to these Dipsy Divers out for about a year and one day I was in Cabelas in Rogers, Arkansas and they had 3 sitting on the shelf. After buying them ChetTonya Saindon and I went out the next day, after a few trial and error passes it was game on and lead was a thing of the past. Once I passed the info around on how to use them they spread like wild fire, now every bait store around Grand lake sales them and every boat from Guide boat to Weekend angler has a "dipsy diver" in thier boat. Feels pretty good to help anglers of all talent to put more and bigger fish in thier boats! ... See MoreSee Less

Scott HickmanMarch is completely different than mid Feb. Fishing will be heating up pretty seriously. Temps vary over month but moving into 50’s and warmer. Basser’s usually not very chatty about sharing information but keep checking this site as lots good info here. Most info will be based around Grove area as most tournaments launch there. (Bassmaster Classic fished March 2016). The later in the month the better. You WILL catch fish.

Grand Lake was nice to us again this afternoon!! Cleaned nearly 2 limits and had them for dinner tonight! Fished from 1 to 5:30. Fish were deep. 30 to 35 ft. 2.5 and 3 in Money milk and firecracker Crappie Kickers were the ticket! 1/8 and 3/16 heads. White and natural colors. Fish held tighter today. Stayed on top of em pretty good today. Not as much casting. FleFly.com #catchmorecrappie #flefly #crappiefishing #crappie #crappielures

Finally! Caught 20-30 crappie in last 45 minutes. 4 nice keepers. Toward back of our cove fish were stacked shallow (5-7 ft) over 25-30 feet of water. That was unexpected fun! ... See MoreSee Less

Crappie Selfie with Tim Carson. Fishing was slower this afternoon and the main lake was extremely rough. Fish were positioned by a wave breaker today in 30 ft. Had to use 3/16 and 1/4 heads and 3 in lures to catch the big fish in deep water. Caught 1 limit and a bunch of 9 inchers. Fished from 2 to 5:30 this afternoon. Threadfin Shad Floating everywhere. Gulls had quite a feast today. Firecracker color. White big eye head. Leta Ann Wells Carson #flefly #crappiekicker #crappiefishing #catchmorecrappie ... See MoreSee Less

John JohnsonOne last one for the memories and a ton of fish catching. Not really a dock but kinda. The old submerged Turkey Ford Bridge at Hwy 10. Could drive right up to it on a little lane by Kings Point. . Grda used to keep The lake low enough to walk on it most of the winter. The lake even froze thick enough once fellas was driving across the lake right up to it. You would find us on this bridge instead of a dock if it was fish able.

Hello Reporters!
After deleting several so called members and their spammy non fishing related posts today Im considering having to use the “admin approve all posts” option. I hope it doesn’t come to this but I can’t watch the report 24/7. I might consider adding a few moderators if this group keeps growing like it is.

If its not a question about fishing on Grand Lake or a fishing report about Grand, below the dam, Spavinaw or Eucha then don’t post it. All off topic posts will be removed immediately without notice.

Please read the recent reports before randomly posting a question. We’ve had a lot of redundant ice and open boat ramp posts.

Never thought we would get to 2000 Members in less than a year. Amazing!
