More than 4,000 fans were on hand for the
Sunday weigh-in.
Oklahoma fan turnout was among the
largest of the year for the Bassmaster Elites. The "Sooner Run" was the
6th stop of the 11 tournament series. |
Grand Lake Association President Charlotte Johnson and Pete Churchwell,
Volunteer Coordinator for the recent Bassmaster Elite 100 (June 01-04,
2006) sang the praises of their more than one hundred volunteers who
helped make the tournament such a resounding success. |

Shane Durham and Steve Winters, of Wichita, took the
$20,000 first place money as winners of the Skeeter Trail Tournament April 30th
out of Martin Landing. They also took the big bass money with a 6.48
pounder and another bonus for fishing out of a Skeeter boat.

Ivan took Don Rucks, General Manager of
B.A.S.S., out for some whites while Rucks was here for the
Bassmaster Elite 100 "Sooner Run" tournament June 1-4, 2006. The
tournament was won by Mike McClelland of Bella Vista, AR. For photos and
